my crystals

In the centre of the project stands a natural occurrence, the process of crystallization. This work examines the connection between nature and human intervention. Each different tincture used creates its unique pattern on plexiglass and on sheet glass.

rain

A pattern collection and impregnated material experiments were made in parallel, inspired by the simple phenomenon of rain. The materials used play slightly with the feeling of control of the rain’s direction. Most used materials were waterproof from the start, such as bike inner tube and foils. Other materials were made waterproof by glue and wax, which also gave these extra structure.
