This is our way of bringing awareness to the projects and people working to make our world a cleaner and more conscious place. The straws can be both from a night bar that has chosen to decrease the impact of throwing away many kilos of straws, or from a project that works hard to clean the beaches from the straws that come to shore, after drifting in the ocean. These individual stories are shared through the hashtags on the straws.
This project was born from the wish to bring social awareness to
what we can do to fight our environmental impact. The bookmarks consist only
of pressed drinking straws. Each piece has been branded with hashtags like
#bairro alto #drinking straw #recycled #notjustuseless – pointing to the main
story and ideas on the project.
